STRIDES Premier is a licensed taxi operator to provide cross-border services for all commuters travelling between Singapore and Johor Bahru (Malaysia).
With effect from 1 July 2026 onwards, STRIDES Premier ceased our SG-JB cross-border web booking services. Passengers who wish to take a cross-border taxi can directly access our services via street-hail at Ban San Street Terminal in Singapore or Larkin Terminal in Johor Bahru.

Please note that the 35km distance is measured from the pick-up point.
Effective from 4 May 2026 onwards, Singapore-registered taxis are permitted to drop passengers off at approved locations in Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri, Forest City, Kulai, and Senai, so long as they fall within the operating boundaries set by the Malaysian authorities.
STRIDES Premier currently offer 4-seater taxis for the cross-border service. As per the regulations in Singapore, the maximum seating configurations allowed is as follows:

Yes, STRIDES Premier is a licensed Singapore taxi provider regulated by the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA). We are authorised to provide cross-border transportation services between Singapore and Johor Bahru.
With effect from 1 July 2026 onwards, our SG-JB cross-border taxi services are only be available for passenger pick-ups via street-hail at Ban San Street Terminal in Singapore and at Larkin Sentral Terminal in Johor Bahru only. There is no restriction for drop-offs within Singapore and drop-offs in Johor Bahru so long as it is within the operating boundary.
STRIDES Premier taxis can ferry up to 4 passengers on a single trip. The following seating configurations are permitted:
For group size larger than 4 passengers, please book additional taxis for transportation.
Moving forward, our SG-JB cross-border services are only available for pick-ups via street-hail in Ban San Street Terminal in Singapore.
Additional drop-off locations in JB are not allowed.

As a standard 4-seater taxi will be provided for the trip, it can accommodate up to 2 large suitcases and 2 small bags.
Only cash payment in the respective currency denomination is accepted for all cross-border taxi trips. The exchange rate is fixed at SGD 1 = RM 3, as determined by the relevant authorities.
